Basel Institute on Governance - Country Risk Scores

The DIA requires reporting entities to consider risk when they "deal with a customer or institution resident or supervised in or from a foreign country".

However, no guidance is given by DIA as to what risk different jurisdictions pose.

The Basel Institute on Governance provides a list of country risk scores, based on an extensive evaluation, and updates it annually. It is widely used internationally.
