Generating reports from Connectworks

Overview

Connectworks offers many different types of .csv (excel) and .pdf reports regarding your clients from many points throughout the product. This article will show you where and how to obtain these reports.

How to generate a report

You can generate a report from any section of the product by clicking on the I would like to... drop-down menu located on the top right-hand side of the page and selecting you would like to export.

Reports available in Connectworks

Clients>Contacts:

  • Export list (CSV) detailing all of your firms contacts.
  • Client summary (PDF) - An additional report available via the cogs menu in the Clients>Contacts list. This report can be generated for any entity type (contact, individual, company or trust) by using the "Advanced" filter in the left column and selecting "contact or client" (pictured below).

Clients>Individuals:

  • Export list (CSV) of all individuals detailing: Name, Connectworks ID, Subscription type, Client ref, Email, Phone 1, Phone 2, Website, Birth location, Birth country , DOB, Tax code, IRD, GST, Residential address, Mailing address, Manager, Partner.

Clients>Companies:

  • Export list (CSV) of all companies detailing: Name, Connectworks ID, Subscription type, Client ref, Annual review date, Email, Phone 1, Phone 2, Website, Tax code, IRD, GST, All address types, Company type, Incorporation date, AGM date, Balance date, Annual return date, Manager, Partner.
  • Export trusteeships of trustee companies (CSV) a report detailing all Corporate Trustee Companies and the trusts which they hold a role in.
  • People & employees report (CSV) a report detailing all the people contained within the "People & Employees" section in each company profile, the roles they hold in the company and their appointment/retirement dates.

  • List of directors (PDF & CSV)

Shareholders tab:

  • Transaction report (chronological)
  • Transaction report (by allocation)
  • Capital report
  • History of ownership (XLS, CSV & PDF)
  • History of control (XLS & PDF)
  • Shareholder continuity report
  • Compliance report s87(2)(a)
  • Compliance report s87(1),(2)(b,c)
  • Allocation report (PDF & Excel)
  • Allocation contact report (Excel)
  • Transaction report (chronological, by allocation & CSV)
  • List of Shareholders (PDF & CSV)

Clients>Trusts:

  • Export list (CSV) of all trusts detailing: Name, Connectworks ID, Subscription type, Client ref, Annual review date, Email, Phone 1, Phone 2, Website, Tax code, IRD, GST, All address types, Trust type, Business unit, Settlement date, Gross income distributions, 6 month distributions, FATCA reporting, Foreign tax, Files tax returns, Vesting Date, Decisions (majority or consensus), AGM date, Balance date, Annual return date, Manager, Partner.
  • Export by corporate trustee (PDF) a report detailing all Corporate Trustee Companies and the trusts which they hold a role in.
  • Trustee report (CSV) a report detailing all the people contained within the "Associated parties" section in each trust profile, the roles they hold in the trust and their appointment/retirement dates.  
  • Status report (CSV) a report detailing the information contained within a trust profile including: Trust name, Client Reference, Business unit, Partner, Manager, Subscription plan, Settlement date, Vesting date, Vesting event, Balance date, IRD, GST, US citizen, Non-local tax resident, roles present within the trust, total number of documents loaded in the trust. 

Within a trust workspace:

  • Export trust profile (PDF)

Ledger tab:

  • Movements report (CSV)
  • Transactions report (CSV)

Note - there is a separate report section of the ledger's tab, Ledger>Reports. Place a tick on the report you would like to obtain on the left-hand side of the page and click export report on the bottom of the page. See more here.
