Updates Tab
Understanding the Companies Office notifications in the Updates tab.
In the Updates tab, you will see all the changes that have occurred with your Client Companies in Connectworks.
This includes other Companies where you have imported a Corporate Trustee Company as a Trustee to your Trust, and another firm manages that Trustee Company.
Update Type
The following is a list of update types, messages related to the change, and the filters they are in.
Annual Returns
- The Annual Return has been filed
Addresses (Please note: We do not get notifications for the Communications Address)
- Registered Address - The Registered address has been updated
- Address for Service - The Address for Service has been updated
- Share Register - The Share Register Address has been updated
- Address for Records - The Address for Records has been updated
Directors
- Change in Directors - The Directorship has been updated
Shareholding
- Change in Shareholding - The Shareholder information has been updated
Others
- Company detail (see below)
- In Liquidation

Status Changed (Company status has changed)

Ultimate Holding Company - The Ultimate Holding Company details have been updated
- NZBN Information at the Companies Office
- Invoicing details
- GST Number - The GST Number has been updated

Company Detail Entries
This notification appears whenever an entry is added to the Documents gallery at the Companies Office. Typically, you will see this entry appear with another entry, like the annual return filed notification.
Reports
By default, you will see all the notifications from the last 2 months. However, you have the option to customise the report by selecting the Update type and any of the following:
- All time
- This month
- Last 2 months
- Last 3 months
- Last 6 months
- Last 12 months
