Integrating FYI and Connectworks
This integration is not live. The team will communicate with beta testers for the initial launch, and then we will announce once it is live.
You can integrate FYI with Connectworks to import documents related to an entity's governance. When changes are made in FYI, the documents are synced and automatically updated in the entity's Document tab in Connectworks.
FYI set-up
Before you begin, you must get the Secret and Access Key ID information from FYI.
This one-off step can only be done by an FYI Admin or a user in a User Group with enabled Automation Permissions.
- In FYI, click the Automation menu option.
- Go to the Apps tab.
- Click the cog icon next to Connectworks to open the connection setting
- Click the Create New Secret button, and the follow-up popup will appear.
- Per FYI's guidance, save the Secret Key ID in a secure vault within your firm. Copy the Access Key ID and the Secret Key ID, as these will be added to Connectworks when you add the Add-on.
Linking FYI to Connectworks
- Log into Connectworks and navigate to your firm admin tab.
- Select Add-ons from the top menu.
- Click Add add-on and select FYI from the drop-down list.
- In the initial set-up, you will enter the Region ID, Access Key ID, and Secret Key ID from FYI and click Connect.
Configure the Add-on
Once connected, you will need to configure the add-on and specify the location of the documents you would like to appear in Connectworks.
1. Select the FYI Add-on
2. Click on the cogs and select "Configure".
3. Your firm can specify up to 2 options for Companies and Trusts, select the appropriate location of the documents and select update.
